About Us

img

The World Council of Hindus UK is a charitable organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and supporting Hindu culture, values, and community life in the United Kingdom. We serve as a unifying platform for Hindus of all backgrounds—connecting temples, individuals, and local chapters to nurture the spiritual and cultural identity of the Hindu diaspora.

Our mission is to safeguard and promote Sanatan Dharma by empowering the Hindu community through cultural, spiritual, and social initiatives. We strive to foster unity, provide assistance to new immigrants, support temple activities, and nurture the next generation of Hindu youth.

What We Do

img
The International Co-ordinating Committee of World Council of Hindus liaises with the WHC in various countries. Its activities are streamlined through five zones that cover the globe and broadly correspond with the continents. In each country, the local organisation works independently in pursuit of the objectives of the WHC in harmony with the laws of that country
Support for Hindu Families & Newcomers
We guide newly arrived Hindus in the UK with cultural orientation, temple access, and local chapter connections to ensure they feel welcomed and supported.
Temple and Cultural Collaboration
We actively collaborate with Hindu temples to organize bhajan programs, satsangs, pujas, and religious festivals across the UK.
Events & Festivals
From Diwali and Navratri to community service events, we bring Hindus together to celebrate, learn, and grow.
